My 3 year old Robbie is getting quite polite. That, or he is confused about the lessons we are trying to teach him. A few days ago, a friend taught him how to politely ask forgiveness and say he was sorry. Then the next day Tara was lecturing him about obeying her when she told him to stop what he is doing. To illustrate how important this is, she used an example: "What if you were in the street and I saw a car coming? If I told you to turn around and come back, and you didn't obey me, you would be hit by the car and get hurt or killed". 3 minutes later as we were driving home, we heard him from the back of the car saying over and over again, "I'm sorry that I got hit by a car. I won't do it again. Please forgive me!".

Weird freak of nature coincidence: So I was climbing Maple Mountain(AKA Spanish Fork Peak) with Ben Adcock the other day, and chatting about everything under the sun, when it comes out in the conversation that he too was recently in San Francisco on vacation. "So", I casually ask, "when was that again"? "Oh, June 8th through 11th", he says... Well, since I was there the 9th through 13th, I thought there was a chance we were in the same place at the same time. "Where did you stay", I asked. After camping the first night in Muir Woods, he stayed a hotel in the business district of San Francisco, right off of Union Square. I was in the Marriott, only about 2 or 3 streets away from Union Square. How bizarre is that? Too bad I didn't get out on the town until later in the week, I might have just ran into some friends from back home...
