Tara and KC are at it again - going and being all famous and stuff. Last week they both were featured on a radio show ran by a local Health Food Store owner. (Harvest Fresh Natural Foods, in Orem UT - check them out, they're pretty good). Pat, the owner has her own radio show Wednesdays at 9:00-10:00 on 1400 KSRR ("kstar") . They did pretty well for their first time on Radio. It even looks like they did well enough to get to do it again! They will be on AGAIN this week, 9:15-9:30. But, instead of just pitching their own products and services, this time they will be discussing the pending "Direct Entry Midwife Act" House Bill 25 in the Utah Legislature that started only a week and a half ago. It is currently in the House Health and Human Services Committee, from which it will hopefully emerge this week.
So, tune in if you believe at all in choice in childbirth, whether or not you do not personally would choose a homebirth for your family. Or, listen if you simply want to hear my famous wife. Here's to marrying well.

Somehow I've ended up signing up for a fun-sounding "little" relay race called The Wasatch Back, in June. Deciding that it is high time to get serious in training for it, I have now published my running log online, as a blog (published through Blogger, like this page). Wish me luck. My segments are relatively easy, with only one having an elevation gain (700 ft). The other two are just leaving the city near Logan, and just coming into Heber. I'll post more details later.
