What Jeff works on all day long

After a short stint with a start up company, I am now working for the more sucessful and definitely more stable Novell, headquartered in Provo, Utah. Here I am a developer on the web application team..

Short explanation of what Jeff does

Jeff works with some of the products and components that are powering the most modern web sites. Anything beyond basic HTML sites that often involves looking up stuff in a database, or doing some sort of business logic. You cannot easily do these kinds of things with a simple HTML web server, you typically need something like a web application server. Everything that we do is in the programming language, Java, and based on the J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition) platform.

What Tara works on all day long

Besides being a full time stay-at-home mom, gardener, pre-school teacher(to our kids), etc., Tara is also a Certified Professional Midwife. This means that she has certified as a direct-entry, "lay" midwife and delivers babies at home. Check out her business online. She recently finished her 3 or so years of schooling, took and passed the professional exam, and is now starting her practice. Those clients that she has had are intending on coming back to her with their next baby, so she must have made a good impression of her skills and personability(is that a word?).
