Jeff's Running (b)log -- I have to get in shape for wasatch back relay that I so foolishly signed up for, so I'm hoping a running log should help with my motivation (IE, peer pressure from team-mates who can now see what I am (or am not) doing.) :)
I was able to go running in Nuremberg for the second time today. This time I ran within the outer walls, in the "moat" area. (I do not know if there was ever actually any water in said moat). It was a very nice trail. I ran to the Pigniz river that divides old town in half, then followed it through the old town a bit. It was a really fun run. Once again, it was really good to get to know my surroundings. I found where we were going to eat dinner that night, talked to some friendly germans (saying, mostly, "I'm a foreigner and do not speak German". German class in High School FINALLY paid off). I tried to make this run a little harder and faster than previous ones since I want to start tapering with the next run.
