Jeff's Running (b)log -- I have to get in shape for wasatch back relay that I so foolishly signed up for, so I'm hoping a running log should help with my motivation (IE, peer pressure from team-mates who can now see what I am (or am not) doing.) :)

I had the good fortune of being sent to Germany (Nuremberg) for work this week. So, I had to figure out how to run 5 miles in a city I don't even know. I finally realized that the best way is to run by time, not distance. Given my current pace, that equals about 50 minutes. So, I ran around the old town castle wall.

One thing I really learned from this: Running is a very grand way to get to know a new area. I was able to orient to the layout of the old town, see what places would be good to visit, etc. I also was able to find the office building I'll be working in all week, which is a plus.
