Jeff's Running (b)log -- I have to get in shape for wasatch back relay that I so foolishly signed up for, so I'm hoping a running log should help with my motivation (IE, peer pressure from team-mates who can now see what I am (or am not) doing.) :)
After a whole day of walking around Warsaw, Poland, the day after walking all around Prague, Czech, I realized that my 2 runs of 2 miles each probably ought to just not happen this week. Good thing too, since yesterday I walked about 5 or 6 miles at least around Warsaw. Europe is just a more walkable place, even Warsaw to a point. Today I am in Krakow and kicking myself for even buying a 24 hour tram/bus pass, since it seems I can get everywhere here without needing to ride the public transportation. I might still, to let my blisters from yesterday heal up a bit. Good thing for the airplane ride.
Race in 3 days..... 3 long days, since I repeat wednesday evening, on my home journey. (Once on the plane as I leave from Vienna at 8:00 p.m., and once as I stay overnight at the ramada at JFK airport.
I DO need to work out today, but I can guarantee it will _not_ be a run. I can see why Europeans are on the average skinnier. I've eaten A LOT of food, but I feel like I have not gained any weight while here, I've worked it all off.
Greetings from Krakow Poland(THE most beautiful city in Eastern Europe), - Jeff
