Time for my second ten-miler of this season. I wanted a different change of pace today, so I marked a course towards Provo Canyon, then up it one mile. Then I made the mistake of driving all the way back home and running that course. I realized at about mile 3(800 N, 800 E) that I really should have driven to the Parkway Trail trailhead and started from there and ran 5 miles up the canyon. What was I thinking?
Well, at least my whole 1 mile up the canyon and back was very refreshing, and really made it easier to finish the 4 hot miles back to home.
Live and learn - next time I'll do the run totally in the canyon.
I finished this run in about 104 minutes, right on target.
