Jeff's Running (b)log -- I have to get in shape for wasatch back relay that I so foolishly signed up for, so I'm hoping a running log should help with my motivation (IE, peer pressure from team-mates who can now see what I am (or am not) doing.) :)

Since Tara is out of town at a conference in Washington, D.C., I had very few options today for my long run. I ended up running 9 miles on my inlaw's treadmill while the kids watched a movie. Oh man, that small room with the treadmill gets _so_ hot. I think I sweated worse than ever before in my life. Luckily I had a lot of water to drink.
Man, I'm not doing that again if I have any choice.

Later after reviewing my running spreadsheet, I realized I was only supposed to do 8 miles today. At least the 9 felt really good. The only big loss was that this means I did speed training AND increased my mileage this week (well within the 10% rule, but I should've not increased at all).
