For Couples by a Couple...
We are Jessica and Ben Lagrone and we teach couples about birth and babies. Jessica is a certified childbirth educator and doula, and Ben is an education specialist and dad coach.
We had three girls in four years (whew!) and experienced everything from an unmedicated birth, a c-section, difficult postpartum, fussy babies and anxiety about our decisions. We learned that childbirth and parenthood is unpredictable, but feeling informed and supported are keys to a positive and joyful experience.
We started Balanced Families to empower couples to approach parenthood from a balanced perspective. We make complicated topics simple so you're armed with the information needed to make decisions with confidence.
In everything we teach, we include partners 100% (not as an add-on at the end) because they deserve (and want) to be just as informed as moms. Our unique couples-focused resources will prepare you both together so you become a birth and parenting team.
