Why do pregnancy resources focus only on mom and leave partners out? We hear all the time that moms want their partners to be more involved during pregnancy, but it’s hard to think of practical things to do together. Mom is the one carrying the baby - so what does dad do? This can make dad feel disconnected to the pregnancy and mom feel unsupported and even alone.

So we decided to take action. We wrote a simple guide called The Pregnant Couple Playbook designed to give BOTH expectant parents practical and fun ways to prep for birth and baby - 40 ways to be exact!

Who We Are

Hey there! We are Jessica & Ben Lagrone, a husband-wife childbirth education team (Yep, a man that teaches about childbirth, too!). We teach couples-focused birth and baby classes so both parents are informed and ready to welcome their new baby into their family. This means that moms feel more supported and partners feel more prepared - a win-win!

Jessica is a certified childbirth educator and doula, and Ben is an education specialist and birth nerd. We had three kids in five years (whew!) and experienced everything from unmedicated birth to c-section and a lot in between. We learned that childbirth is unpredictable, but feeling informed and supported are keys to a positive birth experience. Our journey inspired us to develop comprehensive and couples-focused resources so expectant parents can learn together and feel confident.
